Colebrookdale Railroad to Close Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) Next Weekend for Resurfacing in Pottstown Borough

​King of Prussia, PA – Colebrookdale Railroad is planning to close Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Shoemaker Road and Manatawny Street in Pottstown Borough, Montgomery County, from 9:00 PM Friday, November 2, to 6:00 AM Monday, November 5, for railroad crossing resurfacing operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. 

During the closure, vehicular traffic will be directed to use Route 100 (Pottstown Pike, King Street, Manatawny Street and State Street. Large trucks will be directed to use Route 100 (Pottstown Pike), Route 724 (Schuylkill Road), Hanover Street, Farmington Avenue, Wilton Street and State Street.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
