Several State Highways to Be Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming and Brushing in Montgomery, Chester and Bucks Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on several state highways in Montgomery, Chester and Bucks counties for tree trimming and brushing operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, October 22, Joshua Road between Militia Hill Road and the Pennsylvania Turnpike overpass in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County;
  • Monday, October 22 and Tuesday, October 23, Pughtown Road between Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Bethel Road in East Vincent and West Vincent townships, Chester County;
  • Monday, October 22 and Tuesday, October 23, Glenside Road between Bradford Avenue and Romig Road in West Bradford Township, Chester County;
  • Monday, October 22, through Wednesday, October 24, Route 412 (Main Street) between Bodder Road and Lehnenberg Road in Springfield Township, Bucks County;
  • Tuesday, October 23, Camp Wawa Road at Haldeman Road in Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County;
  • Tuesday, October 23, Morris Road between Butler Pike and Mercer Hill Road in Upper Dublin and Whitpain townships, Montgomery County;
  • Tuesday, October 23, Edge Hill Road at Terwood Road in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County;
  • Wednesday, October 24 and Thursday, October 25, Route 162 (Strasburg Road) between Marshallton-Thorndale Road and Telegraph Road in West Bradford Township, Chester County;
  • Wednesday, October 24 and Thursday, October 25, Kimberton Road between Cold Stream Road and Seven Stars Road in East Pikeland Township, Chester County;
  • Thursday, October 25, Route 313 (Dublin Pike) at Old Bethlehem Road in Bedminster Township, Bucks County;
  • Friday, October 26, Route 313 (Dublin Pike) at North 5th Street in East Rockhill Township, Bucks County;
  • Friday, October 26, Birmingham Road between General Howe Drive and Country Club Road in Birmingham Township, Chester County; and
  • Friday, October 26, Route 842 (Bridge Road) between Wawaset Road and Allerton Road in East Bradford Township, Chester County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
