Several State Highways to Close for Maintenance Improvements in Montgomery County

King of Prussia, PA – Several state highways in Montgomery County are scheduled to close next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for various maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedules are:
  • Monday, October 22, Swede Road between U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) and Township Line Road in Whitpain Township. During construction, motorists will be directed to use Township Line Road and U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike);
  • Monday, October 22 and Tuesday, October 23, Mill Road between Moorwood Road and Indian Town Creek Road in Franconia and Lower Salford townships. During construction, motorists will be directed to use Moorwood Road, Route 63 (Main Street), Route 113 (Harleysville Pike), Yoder Road and Indian Creek Road;
  • Tuesday, October 23, Water Street Road between Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) and North Grange Avenue in Worcester Township. During construction, motorists will be directed to use Route 363 (Valley Forge Road), Stump Hall Road, Greenhill Road and North Grange Avenue; and
  • Wednesday, October 24, and Thursday, October 25, Whitehall Road between Township Line Road and Route 73 (Skippack Pike) in Worcester Township. During construction, motorists will be directed to Township Line Road, Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) and Route 73 (Skippack Pike).
Local access will be maintained up to all construction zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction areas because backups and slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
