Three State Highways Restricted Next Week for Maintenance Improvements in Montgomery and Chester Counties

King of Prussia, PA –Three state highways will be restricted next week in Montgomery and Chester counties for various maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedules are:
  • Monday, October 22, through Wednesday, October 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Whitehall Road will be closed between Township Line Road and Route 73 (Skippack Pike) in Worcester Township, Montgomery County for base repair. During construction, motorists will be directed to use Township Line Road, Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) and Route 73 (Skippack Pike);
  • Monday, October 22, through Thursday, October 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will close on southbound Route 611 (Easton Road) at Fitzwatertown Road in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County for inlet repair; and
  • Monday, October 22, through Friday, October 26, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) between Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Route 82 (Manor Road) in West Brandywine, East Brandywine, Caln townships and Downingtown Borough, Chester County for crack sealing.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the construction areas because backups and slowdowns will occur. Local access will be maintained up to all construction zones. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
