Several State Highways to Be Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions are scheduled next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on several state highways in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery counties for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, October 15, Chestnut Ridge/Upper Tinicum Church Road between Mine Spring Lane and Lodi Hill Road in Bridgeton Township, Bucks County;
- Monday, October 15, through Wednesday, October 17, Pughtown Road, with flagging, between Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Bethel Road in East Vincent and West Vincent townships, Chester County;
- Monday, October 15, through Thursday, October 18, Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Shoemaker Road and State Street (Upland Square Drive) in Pottstown Borough, Montgomery County;
- Tuesday, October 16, through Friday, October 19, Route 212 (Durham Road) between Route 412 South (Main Street) and Gallows Hill Road in Durham and Springfield townships, Bucks County;
- Thursday, October 18, Joshua Road between Militia Hill Road and entrance to Fort Washington State Park in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County; and
- Thursday, October 18, through Friday, October 19, U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Fairway Lane and Campbell Boulevard in West Whiteland Township, Chester County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
