PECO to Close Susquehanna Road Weekdays for Utility Improvements in Abington Township
King of Prussia, PA – PECO is planning to close Susquehanna Road weekdays between Meetinghouse Road and Dixon Lane in Abington Township, Montgomery County on Thursday, October 18, through early December, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for gas main work, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the weekday closure, Susquehanna Road motorists will be detoured over Mill Road and Valley Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
In addition, Susquehanna Road will also be narrowed to a single lane of traffic weekdays between Mill Road and Meetinghouse Road on Thursday, October 18, through early December from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas. The schedule is weather dependent.
PECO will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
