Several State Highways to Be Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Montgomery and Bucks Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on several state highways in Montgomery and Bucks counties on Tuesday, October 9, through Friday, October 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Route 113 (Trappe Road) between Paperbirch Drive and Yeager Road/Black Rock Road in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County;
  • Township Line Road between Saylor Road and Bridge Road in Limerick Township, Montgomery County;
  • Main Street at Red Rock Circle in Limerick Township, Montgomery County;
  • Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Shoemaker Road and State Street in Pottstown Borough, Montgomery County;
  • Neiffer Road between Swamp Creek Road and Route 73 (Big Road) in Upper Frederick Township, Montgomery County;
  • Belmont Avenue at Jennifer Lane in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County;
  • Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) at Amherst Road in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County;
  • U.S. 1 (City Avenue) at Greenhill Lane in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County; and
  • Chestnut Ridge Road between Lodi Hill Road and Bridgeton Hill Road in Bridgeton Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
