Evergreen Road Restricted Next Week for Bridge Construction in Limerick Township

King of Prussia, PA – Evergreen Road between Lightcap Road and Rupert Road in Limerick Township, Montgomery County will be restricted next week for bridge construction under a project to rehabilitate and improve a five-mile section of the expressway between the Royersford/Trappe and Sanatoga interchanges, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Monday, November 18, through Wednesday, November 20, right or left lane closures will be in place 24 hours a day on Evergreen Road; and
  • Thursday, November 21, from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, alternating right or left lane closures will be in place on Evergreen Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
