Route 611 (Old York Road) Lane Closures Wednesday for Bridge Inspection in Abington Township
King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Route 611 (Old York Road) between Hamilton Avenue and Jericho Road in Abington Township, Montgomery County, on Wednesday, November 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for bridge inspection, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least once every two years to ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
