PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

Bucks County

• Monday, November 18, through Friday, December 6, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on County Line Road between Route 263 (York Road) and Madison Avenue in Warminster Township.

Chester County

• Monday, November 18, through Wednesday, November 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) between Pinebrook Circle and Guthriesville Road in East Brandywine Township;
• Monday, November 18, through Friday, November 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on northbound Route 352 (Chester Road) between Paoli Pike and Boot Road in East Goshen Township; and
• Monday, November 18, through Friday, November 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Bridge Street) between Hall Street and Walnut Street in Phoenixville Borough.

Delaware County

• Monday, November 18, through Friday, November 22, from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Haverford Avenue in Upper Darby and Haverford townships.

Montgomery County

• Monday, November 18, through Friday, November 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 463 (Horsham Road) between Davis Grove Road and Keith Valley Road in Horsham Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
