U.S. 202 Lane Restrictions at Night Next Week for Message Sign Maintenance in Chester County

King of Prussia, PA –  Periodic lane closures will be in place on northbound or southbound U.S. 202 between the Chesterbrook Boulevard and Route 252 interchanges in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County on Monday, November 18, through Friday, November 22, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for maintenance activities on electronic message signs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The scheduled activities are among the post-construction work items under the recently completed $30.1 million project to rehabilitate the northbound and southbound U.S. 202 bridges over Amtrak at the U.S. 30/Exton Bypass Interchange.

The signs were among the numerous Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) components that were installed as part of the project. The signs are connected to PennDOT's Traffic Management Center in King of Prussia, which provides real-time travel information to motorists on the region's highways.
