PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Chester County
- Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) between Pinebrook Circle and Guthriesville Road in East Brandywine Township;
- Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Bridge Street) between Hall Street and Walnut Street in Phoenixville Borough;
- Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 252 (Darby Paoli Road) between Argyle Road and Evergreen Lane in Easttown Township;
- Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 724 (Schuylkill Road) between Hares Hill Road and Ridge Road in Phoenixville Borough;
- Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on eastbound Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Ellis Lane and Mary Fran Drive in East Goshen Township; and
- Monday, November 11, through Monday, November 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 796 (Jennersville Road) between Baltimore Pike and Waltman Lane in Penn Township.
Delaware County
- Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 15, from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Haverford Avenue in Upper Darby and Haverford townships.
Montgomery County
- Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 63 (Welsh Road) between Oak Terrace Drive and Lloyd Road in Lower Gwynedd Township; and
- Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 463 (Horsham Road) between Davis Grove Road and Keith Valley Road in Horsham Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
