PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery Counties

King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

Bucks County

• Tuesday, December 3, through Tuesday, December 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 413 (Durham Road) between Lincoln Highway and Bellevue Avenue in Penndel Borough.

Chester County

• Monday, December 2, through Friday, December 6, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Ellis Lane and Center Drive in East Goshen Township;
• Monday, December 2, through Friday, December 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 100 (Chester Road) between Paoli Pike and Boot Road in East Goshen Township; and
• Thursday, December 5, through Thursday, December 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 352 (Chester Road) between Monte Vista Drive and Vista Drive in East Goshen Township.

Delaware County

• Monday, December 2, through Saturday, December 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (Township Line Road) between Darby Road and Meadowbrook Road in Haverford Township.

Montgomery County

• Monday, December 2, through Friday, December 6 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 463 (Horsham Road) between Davis Grove Road and Keith Valley Road in Horsham Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
