This is the only briefing expect for this event.   Chester County Forecasted Conditions: Slight risk for severe storms this afternoon and evening Hazards and Impacts: Hail/Wind Strong winds Large hail possible Flooding Heavy downpours possible Localized flooding possible Areas with poor drainage are at higher risk  Tornado Small risk with storms in the late afternoon early evening This holiday weekend is expected to be dry and seasonable July 4th there is a chance of thunderstorms (20-30%)   Active Watches & Warnings: Currently there are no Watches and Warnings for Chester County   DES Actions: We will continue to monitor this event and provide additional information as it becomes available. The Watch Officer is available through the 9-1-1 Operations Center by calling 610-344-5100.
