Brookhaven Road Lane Closure Scheduled Next Week for Bridge Seal
Replacement in Delaware County

11/22/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

Brookhaven Road will be reduced to a single lane between Waterville Road
and
Creekside Drive in Brookhaven Borough, Delaware County, on Monday, November
28,
and Tuesday, November 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for bridge seal
replacement,
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
The
work schedule is weather dependent.

The Brookhaven Road bridge was built in 1964. The single-span steel I-beam
bridge is 70 feet long, 43 feet wide and carries an average of 18,755
vehicles
a day.

Loftus Construction, Inc. of Cinnaminson, N.J., is the general contractor
on
the project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
