I-95 Night Travel Restrictions at Cottman Avenue Interchange in
Philadelphia Next Week

11/4/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 95 at the Cottman

Avenue (Route 73) Interchange as part of construction underway to improve
the
interchange and widen the adjoining section of I-95, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said today.

The upcoming work schedule is:

•On Sunday, November 6, through Friday November 11, from 10:00 PM to 5:00
AM
the following morning, the I-95 north off-ramp to Cottman Avenue (Route 73)

will be closed for ramp widening. Motorists will be detoured north on I-95
to
the exit at the Academy Road Interchange, then right on Linden Avenue, and
right on State Road to Cottman Avenue (Route 73); and

•On Sunday, November 6, through Friday November 11, from 10:00 PM to 5:00
AM
the following morning, the Princeton Avenue on-ramp to I-95 north will be
closed periodically for ramp and roadway construction. Motorists will be
detoured north on State Road, then left on Linden Avenue and right on the
ramp
to I-95 north at the Academy Road Interchange.

•On Tuesday, November 8, and Wednesday, November 9, I-95 south will be
reduced
from three lanes to two at the Cottman Avenue Interchange (Route 73) from
10:00
PM to midnight, then from two lanes to one from 12:01 AM to 5:00 AM the
following morning for the installation of sign structure mast arms;

•On Wednesday, November 9, through Friday, November 11, from 10:00 PM to
5:00
AM the following morning, I-95 north will be reduced from three lanes to
two
between the Bridge Street and Cottman Avenue (Route 73) interchanges for
sign
structure installations;

Drivers are advised to allow extra time for travel through the work zones.
All
scheduled activities are weather dependent.
