U.S. 30 East Lane Closures Monday and Tuesday in West Whiteland Township,
Chester County

The eastbound left lane will be closed on U.S. 30 between the Business U.S.
30
and Route 100 interchanges in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, on
Monday, November 21, and Tuesday, November 22, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for
the
installation of pavement reflectors, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) said today.

This operation is associated with the $2.9 million project to repair the
highway and address sinkhole activity at two locations on U.S. 30. The
project
is scheduled to finish next week.

The contractor's work schedule is weather dependent.

PennDOT began construction on June 1, 2016, to reinforce the earth under
U.S.
30 in the median and parts of the eastbound and westbound inside travel
lanes
about 2,000 feet east of the Business U.S. 30 Interchange, and in the
eastbound
inside lane and median approximately 1,000 feet east of the bridge over
Clover
Mill Road.

Road-Con, Inc. of West Chester, Chester County, is the general contractor
on
the $2,971,205 project that is financed with 100 percent state funds.
