I-95 and Route 309 Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled for Sign Installations
in Delaware and Montgomery Counties

11/18/2016-KING OF PRUSSIA

Overnight lane closures are scheduled on northbound Interstate 95 in
Delaware
County, and northbound Route 309 in Montgomery County, for overhead sign
installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said

today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, November 28, and Tuesday, November 29, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM,
the
two right lanes are scheduled to close on northbound I-95 between the Route
420
(Exit 9A / 9B) and Route 291 (Exit 12 A-B) interchanges in Tinicum
Township,
Delaware County; and
• Tuesday, November 29, through Thursday, December 1, from 9:00 PM to 5:00
AM,
the right lane is scheduled to close on northbound Route 309 between
Norristown
Road and Route 63 (Welsh Road) in Ambler Borough, Montgomery County.

PennDOT advises drivers to allow additional time for travel on I-95 north
and
Route 309 north near the work areas because backups will occur. The
operation
is dependent on the weather.

The work is part of an $860,000 project to replace large roadside signs
across
the five-county region.

Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, Pa. is the general contractor on
the
project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
