PennDOT Alert: Lane restrictions I-95 for bridge inspections

Travel Restrictions on I-95 in Philadelphia and Delaware County for Bridge Inspections
 
King of Prussia, PA - Travel restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia and Delaware County for bridge inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
 
Weather permitting, the work schedule is:
 
  •         On Tuesday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the right lane will be closed on I-95 south between Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) and Route 420 (Wanamaker Avenue) in Tinicum Township;
  •         On Tuesday, November 15, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the right lane will be closed on I-95 north between the Philadelphia International Airport and Route 291 (Island Avenue) in Philadelphia;
  •         On Wednesday, November 16, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the right lane will be closed on the Route 291 (Bartram Avenue) ramp to I-95 south in Philadelphia.
 
The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least once every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of the structures.
