Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways in Montgomery and
Chester Counties for Maintenance Operations

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in Montgomery
and
Chester counties, for sweeping, debris removal and base repair operations.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, November 14, through Friday, November 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
intermittent lane and shoulder closures are scheduled on eastbound and
westbound Interstate 76 between U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and the Pennsylvania
Turnpike (I-276) in Lower Merion Township, West Conshohocken Borough and
Upper
Merion Township, Montgomery County, for sweeping and debris removal;

• Monday, November 14, through Friday, November 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
intermittent lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound and southbound
Route
309 between Cheltenham Avenue and Route 63 (Welsh Road) in Cheltenham,
Springfield, Upper Dublin and Lower Gwynedd townships, Montgomery County,
for
sweeping and debris removal;

• Monday, November 14, through Friday, November 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
the right lane is scheduled to close on westbound U.S. 422 between the
Sanatoga
and Stowe interchanges in Lower Pottsgrove, Upper Providence and West
Pottsgrove townships, Montgomery County, for sweeping; and

• Wednesday, November 16, through Friday, November 18, from 8:00 AM to 4:00
PM,
lane restrictions are scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between Route
352
(South Chester Road/Middletown Road) and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in
Westtown and Willistown townships, Chester County, for base repair.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

zones.
