PA American Water Company to Restrict Markley Street and Main Street in
Norristown for Water Main Installations

The Pennsylvania American Water Company is planning lane restrictions on
Markley Street and Main Street in Norristown, Montgomery County, for water
main
installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced today.

The work schedule is:

•Saturday, November 19, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Markley Street will be
reduced
to a single lane between Marshall Street and Elm Street
•Monday, November 21, through Saturday, December 31, from 7:00 PM to 5:00
AM,
Markley Street will be reduced to a single lane between Marshall Street and
Elm
Street, except for Sundays and holidays; and
•Monday, November 21, through Saturday, December 31, from 7:00 PM to 5:00
AM,
Main Street will be reduced to a single lane between Barbadoes Street and
Water
Street, except for Sundays and holidays.

During construction hours, traffic will be controlled by flagging.
Motorists
are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. The work
schedule is weather dependent.

The Pennsylvania American Water Company will complete the work under a
PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
