Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Two State Highways Next Week in Chester and
Delaware Counties for Water Main Installations

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning weekday travel restrictions next week on Old
Eagle School Road in Chester County, and Wallingford Avenue in Delaware
County,
for water main installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation

(PennDOT) today announced.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, February 6, through Wednesday, February 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions are scheduled on Old Eagle School Road at Trowill Lane in

Tredyffrin Township, Chester County; and

• Monday, February 6, through Friday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,

Wallingford Avenue is scheduled to close weekdays between Manchester Avenue
and
Route 252 (Providence Road) in Nether Providence and Upper Providence
townships, and Media Borough, Delaware County. During the weekday closure,
Wallingford Avenue motorists will be detoured over Manchester Avenue,
Baltimore
Pike and Route 252 (Providence Road).

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

areas. Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these improvement projects under a
PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and

to more than 770 traffic cameras.
