Travel Restrictions Scheduled on I-76, Route 309, U.S. 422 and I-476 in
Montgomery County for Maintenance Operations

2/1/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 76, Route 309, U.S. 422 and

Interstate 476 in Montgomery County, for maintenance operations.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Saturday, February 4, and Saturday, February 11, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
the
right lane is scheduled to close on westbound I-76 between Gulph Road and
U.S.
202 (DeKalb Pike) in Upper Merion township, for brushing and tree removal;

• Monday, February 6, through Thursday, February 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on eastbound and westbound I-76
between U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lower Merion
and
Upper Merion townships and West Conshohocken Borough, for debris removal;

• Monday, February 6, through Thursday, February 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound Route
309
between Cheltenham Avenue and Route 63 (Welsh Road) in Cheltenham,
Springfield,
Upper Dublin and Lower Gwynedd townships, for sweeping and debris removal;

• Monday, February 6, through Thursday, February 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on eastbound and westbound U.S.
422
between the Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Route 363 (Trooper Road)
interchanges in Lower Providence, Upper Providence, Limerick and Lower
Pottsgrove townships, for debris removal; and

• Monday, February 6, through Thursday, February 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
intermittent lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound I-476

between the Pennsylvania Turnpike and County Line Road in West Conshohocken

Borough and Lower Merion Township, for debris removal.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

zones.
