PECO and Aqua Pennsylvania to Restrict Three State Highways in Bucks and
Delaware Counties for Utility Improvements

Weekday travel restrictions are scheduled on Route 532 (Buck Road) in Bucks

County, and Oak Avenue and Manchester Avenue in Delaware County, for gas
and
water main installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT) today announced.
Weather permitting, the work schedule is:

• Monday, February 13, and Tuesday, February 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
PECO
will restrict Route 532 (Buck Road) at Rolling Hills Drive in Northampton
Township, Bucks County, for gas main installation. Traffic will be
controlled
by flagging;
• Tuesday, February 14, and Wednesday, February 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
Aqua Pennsylvania will restrict Oak Avenue at Magnolia Avenue in Darby
Township, Delaware County, for water main installation. Traffic will be
controlled by flagging; and
• Thursday, February 16, and Friday, February 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
Aqua
Pennsylvania will close Manchester Avenue between Radnor Street and
Wallingford
Avenue in Nether Providence and Upper Providence townships and Media
Borough,
Delaware County, for water main installation. During the closure,
Manchester
Avenue motorists will be detoured over Baltimore Pike, Route 252
(Providence
Road) and Brookhaven Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

areas.

PECO and Aqua Pennsylvania will complete both projects under a PennDOT
Highway
Occupancy Permit.
