Snow Emergency

Hello, West Chester Borough Mayor Carolyn Comitta has declared a Snow Emergency has been declared for West Chester Borough through Friday, February 10th at 7:00am. All residents and business owners are reminded that during this time parking is prohibited on all snow emergency routes in the borough and vehicles will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense. Residents are urged to use the borough's parking garages, free of charge, during the snow emergency. Garages are: The Bicentennial Garage located at 20 S High Street; The Chestnut Street Garage located at E. Chestnut Street and N Walnut Street; The Sharpless Street Garage located at S. Church Street and Sharpless Street, the Matlack Street Garage located on S. Matlack Street just south of Rosedale Ave. and the Nields St. garage just west of S. New St. The parking garages will be open at 10:00 PM through 7:00 am on Friday February 10th. . Please contact PECO to report all power outages at 1-800-841-4141. As always, if you have an emergency, call 911 or the Borough's Police Dept. at 610-696-2700. Again, there will be a Snow Emergency for West Chester Borough that will begin at 10:00PM tonight.
