Travel Restrictions Scheduled Monday on I-676 and I-76 for Bridge
Inspections in Philadelphia

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on Interstate 676 and
Interstate 76
in Philadelphia for bridge inspections, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, March 13, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on the westbound I-676 ramp to westbound I-76 in Philadelphia;
• Monday, March 13, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the left lane is scheduled to

close on the eastbound I-76 ramp to eastbound I-676 in Philadelphia; and
• Monday, March 13, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the left lane is scheduled to
close on westbound I-76 between I-676 and Girard Avenue in Philadelphia.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
The schedule is dependent on the weather.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least
once
every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of
the
structures.
