Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Saturday, June 3, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to

close on the ramp from northbound Interstate 95 to Bridge Street in
Philadelphia, for deck repair;

• Monday, June 5, through Wednesday, June 7, Bristol Road will be closed
between Route 532 (Buck Road) and Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) in
Northampton,
Lower Southampton and Upper Southampton townships, Bucks County, from 9:00
AM
to 6:00 PM, for base repairs. During construction, Bristol Road motorists
will
be detoured over Route 532 (Buck Road), Bustleton Pike, Route 132 (Street
Road), and Route 232 (2nd Street Pike);

• Monday, June 5, through Thursday, June 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 162 (Embreeville Road)
between Route 82 (Doe Run Road) and Star Gazer Road in East Marlborough and

Newlin townships, Chester County, for shoulder cutting;

• Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 9, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between

Creek Road and Westtown Road in Birmingham and Westtown townships, Chester
County, and Thornbury Township, Delaware County, for base repairs;

• Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 9, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Terwood
Road
is scheduled to close between Valley Road and Davisville Road in Upper
Moreland
Township, Montgomery County, for base repair. During construction, Terwood
Road
motorists will be detoured over Route 63 (Welsh Road), Route 611 (York
Road)
and Davisville Road;

• Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the
right
lane is scheduled to close on southbound Route 100 between King Street and
U.S.
422 in Pottstown Borough and Upper Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County,
for
shoulder stabilization;

• Wednesday, June 7, and Thursday, June 8, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Blair
Mill
Road is scheduled to close between County Line Road and Route 611 (Easton
Road)
in Horsham and Upper Moreland townships, Montgomery County, for base
repairs.
During construction, Blair Mill Road motorists will be detoured over Mill
Road,
Route 611 (Easton Road), Route 263 (York Road), and County Line Road;

• Wednesday, June 7, Thursday, June 8, Monday, June 12, Wednesday, June 14,
and
Thursday, June 15, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) is
scheduled
to close between Dark Hollow Road and Bridgeton Hill Road in Tinicum and
Bridgeton townships, Bucks County, for milling and paving operations.
During
construction, Route 32 (River Road) traffic will be detoured over Dark
Hollow
Road, Route 413 (Durham Road), Route 611 (Easton Road) and
Marienstein/Bridgeton Hill Road. Local access will be maintained up to the
construction zone; and

• Saturday, June 10, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close eastbound on the George C. Platt Memorial Bridge in Philadelphia, for

concrete removal.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
