I-95 Lane Closures Scheduled Next Week at Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange for
Ramp Work in Philadelphia

Intermittent single and double lane closures are scheduled at night next
week
on northbound and southbound Interstate 95 at the Betsy Ross
Bridge/Aramingo
Avenue Interchange in Philadelphia for painting and removal of protective
shielding underneath the new and reconstructed ramps, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Crews will work Monday, July 17, through Friday, July 21, intermittently
closing one northbound and/or one southbound lane between 8:00 PM and 12:00
AM,
and intermittently closing two northbound and/or southbound lanes at the
Betsy
Ross Bridge/Aramingo Avenue Interchange between 12:01 AM and 5:00 AM.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
area.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The work at the I-95/Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange is part of a $160.2
million
project to rebuild ramps and improve connections to and from I-95, Aramingo

Avenue and the Betsy Ross Bridge.
