I-95 Overnight Lane Closure Scheduled Monday for Repair and Resurfacing
Project in Bucks County

Intermittent lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound
Interstate 95 between the Yardley Newtown Interchange and New Falls Road on

Monday, July 24, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for
construction activities as part of a project to repair and resurface 13
miles
of Interstate 95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield
townships, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 in the
work
area because backups and delays will occur. The contractor's schedule is
weather dependent.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling, overlaying and
rehabilitating existing pavement; performing base repairs; installing new
guide
rail; repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs; performing minor bridge

deck repairs; and installing rumble strips and delineators along the I-95
corridor in Bucks County. The entire project is scheduled to be completed
in
fall 2018.

James J. Anderson Construction Company, Inc. of Philadelphia is the general

contractor on the $29,633,134 project, which is financed with 80 percent
federal and 20 percent state funds.
