Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for Tree
Removal Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Daytime travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state
highways
in Bucks, Delaware, Philadelphia and Chester counties for tree removal
operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, July 24, and Tuesday, July 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Bristol Oxford Valley Road
between
Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) and Terrace Road in Bristol Township,
Bucks
County;
• Monday, July 24, through Friday, July 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 32 (River Road) between
Cafferty Road and Smithtown Road in Tinicum Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, July 24, through Friday, July 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Smithbridge Road between
Valleybrook Road and Route 202 in Concord Township, Delaware County;
• Monday, July 24, through Friday, July 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left

lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between Ryan
Avenue
and Faunce Street in Philadelphia;
• Wednesday, July 26, and Thursday, July 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 322 between New Street
and
Route 202 in West Goshen Township, Chester County;
• Wednesday, July 26, and Thursday, July 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Parkersville Road between Route
926
(Street Road) and U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in Pennsbury Township, Chester
County;
• Wednesday, July 26, and Friday, July 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Old Bristol Pike at Mill Creek
Road
in Falls Township, Bucks County; and
• Friday, July 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Warren Avenue between Shepherd Road and Providence Road in
Willistown Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
