I-95 Lane Restrictions Scheduled Next Week for Bridge Inspections in
Philadelphia

7/7/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week for bridge inspections on
Interstate 95 in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation
(PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, July 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the left lane is scheduled to
close
on northbound I-95 between the Enterprise Avenue/Island Avenue and Broad
Street
(Route 611) interchanges;
• Tuesday, July 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to

close on northbound I-95 between the Enterprise Avenue/Island Avenue and
Broad
Street (Route 611) interchanges; and
• Wednesday, July 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the left lane is scheduled
to
close on southbound I-95 between the Broad Street (Route 611) and
Enterprise
Avenue/Island Avenue interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur. The schedules are dependent on the weather.

The inspections are part of PennDOT's program to inspect bridges at least
once
every two years. The inspections ensure the safety and overall condition of
the
structures.
