PennDOT to Host Open House Public Meeting for Ridge Avenue Bridge over
Amtrak in Philadelphia

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will hold an open
house
public meeting on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM to
inform
citizens about the project to reconstruct and improve the bridge carrying
Ridge
Avenue over Amtrak rail lines in Philadelphia.

The upcoming public meeting will be held at Morris Brown AME Church at 1756

North 25th Street, Philadelphia. The meeting will feature a project
presentation and an open house plans display where citizens will have the
opportunity to circulate among the various subject displays to gather
information and discuss the different facets of the project with PennDOT's
project team.

Construction bids to replace the Ridge Avenue bridge are expected to be
opened
in early 2022.
