Daytime and Nighttime Lane Restrictions Scheduled for Resurfacing
Operations in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties

10/28/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Daytime and nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled next week on four
state
highways in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties for resurfacing
operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced
today.

The work schedule is:

• Sunday, October 29, through Monday, October 30, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM,
lane
restrictions are scheduled on Limerick Center Road between Main
Street/Linfield
Road and Laurel Drive/St. Andrews Boulevard in Limerick Township,
Montgomery
County, for milling;
• Tuesday, October 31, through Thursday, November 2, from 6:00 PM to 6:00
AM,
lane restrictions are scheduled on Rose Tree Road between Route 352
(Middletown
Road) and Route 252 (Providence Road) in Middletown and Upper Providence
townships, Delaware County, for milling and paving;
• Monday, October 30, through Thursday, November 2, from 6:00 PM to 6:00
AM,
lane restrictions are scheduled on Main Street/Linfield Road between the
Chester County line and Lewis Road in Limerick Township, Montgomery County,
for
milling; and
• Monday, October 30, through Friday, November 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
lane
restrictions are scheduled on Strasburg Road between Limestone Road and the

Lancaster County line in West Sadsbury Township, Chester County, for
paving.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
zones
because slowdowns may occur during construction. The contractor's schedule
is
dependent on the weather.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling the existing roadway
surface
and repaving the state highway with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal
the
roadway and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.

Allan A. Myers, LP, of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general
contractor
on the project.
