Fairmount Park Conservancy to Close Parkside Avenue Next Week for Median
Installation in Philadelphia

Fairmount Park Conservancy is scheduled to close Parkside Avenue between
Belmont Avenue and 41st Street in Philadelphia on Monday, October 30,
though
Friday, November 3, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, for median installation, the
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During construction, Parkside Avenue motorists will be detoured north over
South Concourse Drive, or south over Girard Avenue.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are
advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area. The schedule
is
weather dependent.

Fairmount Park Conservancy will complete this project under a PennDOT
Highway
Occupancy Permit.
