I-76 West Daytime Lane Closures Next Week for Survey Operations in Lower
Merion Township

Interstate 76 West motorists will encounter daytime lane closures next week

between the U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and Belmont Avenue interchanges in Lower
Merion Township, Montgomery County, for survey operations, the Pennsylvania

Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, October 16, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled
to
close on westbound I-76;
• Tuesday, October 17, from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM, and 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM,
the
inside lane is scheduled to close on westbound I-76; and
• Wednesday, October 18, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the right lane is
scheduled
to close on westbound I-76.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All activities are weather dependent.
