Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for Tree
Removal Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region for tree removal operations, the Pennsylvania
Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, October 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Fretz Valley Road at Deer Run Road in Bedminster Township,

Bucks County;
• Monday, October 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging
are scheduled on Route 162 (Embreeville Road) between Brandywine Creek Road
and
Scott Road in Newlin Township, Chester County;
• Monday, October 16, through Friday, October 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
the
right lane is scheduled to close on northbound and southbound U.S. 1
(Roosevelt
Boulevard) between Berkley Street and Ridge Avenue in Philadelphia;
• Tuesday, October 17, through Friday, October 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,

lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 724 (Schuylkill
Road)
between Catfish Lane and the Berks County line in North Coventry Township,
Chester County; and
• Wednesday, October 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging are scheduled on Route 412 (Durham Road) at Traugers Crossing Road
in
Nockamixon Township, Bucks County.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
