PennDOT to Host Open House Meeting for Old Forty Foot Road Bridge
Replacement Project in Towamencin Township

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will hold an open
house
project update meeting on Thursday, October 26, at 7:00 PM in the
Towamencin
Township Meeting Hall at 1090 Troxel Road in Lansdale Borough, Montgomery
County, for the upcoming replacement of the bridge carrying Old Forty Foot
Road
over Skippack Creek in Towamencin Township, Montgomery County.

The purpose of the meeting is to present the public with the final project
design, detour plan and construction schedule. The meeting will be
conducted
as an open-house plans display where citizens will have the opportunity to
circulate among the subject displays to gather information and discuss the
different facets of the project with PennDOT's design team.

Construction bids on this bridge improvement project are expected to be
opened
in early 2018.
