Pennsylvania American Water to Restrict Two State Highways for Utility
Improvements in Montgomery and Chester Counties

Pennsylvania American Water is planning travel restrictions on Egypt Road
in
Montgomery County, and Route 82 (Lincoln Highway) in Chester County, for
water
and sewer main installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation

(PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, October 16, through mid-November, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
weekday
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Egypt Road between Green
Tree
Road and Page Lane in Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, for
water
main installation; and
• Monday, October 16, through mid-December, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
weekday
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on westbound Business U.S.
30/Route 82 (Lincoln Highway) between 1st Avenue and Church Street in the
City
of Coatesville, Chester County, for sewer main installation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Pennsylvania American Water will complete these projects under a PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
