I-76 East Ramp to Gulph Road to Close Sunday Morning in Upper Merion
Township, Montgomery County

The ramp from eastbound Interstate 76 to Gulph Road in Upper Merion
Township,
Montgomery County is scheduled to close on Sunday, March 11, from 7:00 AM
to
11:00 AM, for pole removal operations, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the ramp closure, eastbound I-76 motorists will be directed to use
the
U.S. 422 West/Swedesford Road Interchange, exit at Swedesford Road and turn

right to access Gulph Road.

In addition to the ramp closure, a 15-minute traffic stoppage is planned on

eastbound I-76 at the Pennsylvania Turnpike Interchange sometime between
7:00
AM and 11:00 AM on Sunday, March 11.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route or allow additional time
for
travel on eastbound I-76 through the work area because backups and delays
will
occur. All scheduled activities are subject to change depending on weather
conditions.
