Route 332, U.S. 1 and I-95 Travel Restrictions Scheduled This Week for
Guide Rail and Barrier Repair in Bucks and Delaware Counties

Travel restrictions are scheduled this week for guide rail and barrier
repairs
on Route 332 (Newtown Bypass), U.S. 1 and Interstate 95 in Bucks and
Delaware
counties, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced

today.

The work schedule is:

• Tuesday, March 6, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a left lane closure is
scheduled
on eastbound Route 332 (Newtown Bypass) between Woodbourne Road and
Newtown-Yardley Road in Newtown Township, Bucks County, for guide rail
repair;
• Thursday, March 8, from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM, a left lane closure is
scheduled
in both directions on U.S. 1 between the U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and
Morrisville/Pennsylvania Avenue interchanges in Falls Township, Bucks
County,
for barrier replacement; and
• Friday, March 9, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, a left lane closure is
scheduled
on southbound I-95 between the Prospect Park/Essington and Ridley Park
interchanges in Ridley and Tinicum townships, Delaware County, for barrier
replacement.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather
dependent.
