Hello, this is Lower Providence Township with an important announcement.

A Snow Emergency has been declared for the Township in anticipation of the predicated snowfall.

The snow emergency starts at 9:00 pm Tuesday, March 6 and ends at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 8, subject to change.

During this emergency:

No vehicles shall be parked on the odd numbered side of the street.

No person shall operate a vehicle upon any street without chains or snow tires.

Any vehicle parked, stalled, incapable of moving or left unattended on any street, may be removed or towed by the Police Department.

No person shall deposit snow upon any street.

The snow emergency declaration is posted on the Township website, lowerprovidence.org.
