I-95 Lane Closures at Night Next Week for Resurfacing Operations in Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA – Interstate 95 motorists will encounter periodic lane closures in both directions from just south of the Allegheny Avenue Interchange to the Tacony Palmyra Bridge in Philadelphia, on Monday, October 1, through Saturday, October 6, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, for milling, paving and pavement marking installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 through the work area. All scheduled operations are weather dependent and subject to change.

This project is part of the governor's Resurface PA initiative, an aggressive campaign launched by PennDOT to accelerate repaving interstates and attacking potholes across the state's 40,000 miles of PennDOT-maintained roads, the nation's fifth largest such system.
