U.S. 13 Ramp Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming in Bucks and Chester Counties
King of Prussia, PA – Several state highways are scheduled to be restricted next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Bucks and Chester counties for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Friday, November 9, the access ramp for northbound U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) to Edgely Road is scheduled to close in Bristol Township, Bucks County. During the daytime closure, motorists traveling on southbound U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) will be directed to turn right at the intersection to access Edgely Road;
- Monday, November 5, through Wednesday, November 7, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Fallsington Tullytown Road between New Falls Road and Low Lane in Falls Township, Bucks County;
- Monday, November 5, through Friday, November 9, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on U. S. 322 between Downingtown Pike and Phoenixville Pike in East Bradford and West Goshen townships, Chester County; and
- Thursday, November 8, a right lane closure is scheduled on Levittown Parkway at New Falls Road in Falls Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
