Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways for Tree Removal
Operations in Philadelphia Region

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
Chester, Bucks and Delaware counties for tree removal operations.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

• Monday, March 6, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled
on
Newark Road between Airport Way and U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in New Garden
Township, Chester County. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Monday, March 6, and Tuesday, March 7, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on West End Boulevard at Green Top Road in West
Rockhill Township, Bucks County. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Monday, March 6, through Friday, March 10, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled on Bryn Mawr Avenue between Malin Road and Hunt
Road
in Newtown and Radnor townships, Delaware County, for tree removal
operations.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Tuesday, March 7, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on
Elkdale Road between Highland View Drive and Bryans Way in Lower Oxford and

East Nottingham townships, Chester County. Traffic will be controlled by
flagging;
• Tuesday, March 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on
Oxford Road between Elkdale Road and Lochley Drive in East Nottingham
Township,
Chester County. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Wednesday, March 8, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
in both directions on Providence Road between Sugartown Road and Goshen
Road in
Willistown Township, Chester County. Traffic will be controlled by
flagging;
• Wednesday, March 8, and Thursday, March 9, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled westbound on Route 212 (Durham Road) between
Funks
Mill Road and Springtown Hill Road in Springfield Township, Bucks County.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging;
• Thursday, March 9, and Friday, March 10, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions are scheduled in both directions on Sugartown Road between
Goshen
Road and Paoli Pike in Willistown Township, Chester County. Traffic will be

controlled by flagging;
• Friday, March 10, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on
Cherry Lane at Washington Avenue in Wrightstown Township, Bucks County, for

tree removal operations. Traffic will be controlled by flagging;

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work

zones.
