SEPTA to Close Broad Street (Route 611) for Trolley Track Replacement in
Philadelphia

SEPTA is scheduled to close northbound and southbound Broad Street (Route
611)
at Girard Avenue in Philadelphia from 8:00 PM Friday, June 23, to 8:00 PM
Sunday, June 25, for trolley track replacement, the Pennsylvania Department
of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the two-day closure, northbound Broad Street (Route 611) motorists
will
be detoured over Poplar Street, North 13th Street and West Master Street.
Southbound Broad Street (Route 611) motorists will be directed to use West
Master Street, South 15th Street and Poplar Street.

In addition to the closure, there will be lane restrictions on northbound
and
southbound Broad Street (Route 611) between Poplar Street and Thompson
Street
from 8:00 PM Friday, June 23, to 8:00 PM Sunday, June 25.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
area
or use an alternate route. SEPTA's work schedule is dependent on the
weather.
