Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for Tree
Removal and Brushing Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in
the
Philadelphia region, for tree removal and brushing operations, the
Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, June 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with flagging
are
scheduled on Devon State Road between Forrest Hills Circle and Spencer Road
in
Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, for tree removal;
• Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Bristol Road between Route 332
(Jacksonville Road) and Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) in Warminster and Upper

Southampton townships, Bucks Country, for tree removal;
• Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 212 (Durham Road) at
Silfer
Valley Road in Springfield Township, Bucks County, for brushing operations;
• Monday, June 5, through Friday, June 9, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Rose Tree Road between Route
252
(Providence Road) and Interstate 476 in Upper Providence Township, Delaware

County, for tree removal;
• Tuesday, June 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are scheduled
on
southbound Route 352 (Edgmont Road) at U.S. 1 in Middletown Township,
Delaware
County, for tree removal;
• Tuesday, June 6, through Thursday, June 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane
restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Paoli Pike between Vista Drive
and
Township Park Road in East Goshen Township, Chester County, for tree
removal;
• Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the right
lane
is scheduled to close on westbound Matsonford Road between Front Street and

Elizabeth Street in West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County, for tree
removal; and
• Friday, June 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a single lane closure is
scheduled
on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Fairview Road and Sunny Ridge Lane in
Pennsbury Township, Chester County, for tree removal.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
