Aqua Pennsylvania to Close Powell Road Next Week for Utility Improvements
in Springfield Township, Delaware County

7/6/2017-KING OF PRUSSIA

Aqua Pennsylvania is scheduled to close Powell Road weekdays between Saxer
Avenue and Route 420 (Woodland Avenue) in Springfield Township, Delaware
County, on Wednesday, July 12, through Friday, July 28, from 9:00 AM to
3:00
PM, for water main extension, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation

(PennDOT) announced today.

During the weekday closure, Powell Road motorists will be detoured over
Saxer
Avenue, Route 420 (Woodland Avenue) and Baltimore Pike.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are
advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because
slowdowns
will occur during construction. All scheduled activities are weather
dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway
Occupancy
Permit.
