Travel Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Several State Highways for
Maintenance Operations in Montgomery County

Nighttime travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state
highways
in Montgomery County for base repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, July 10, and Tuesday, July 11, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM,
Fitzwatertown
Road is scheduled to close between Susquehanna Road and Route 152 (Limekiln

Pike) in Upper Dublin Township. During construction, Fitzwatertown Road
motorists will be detoured over Susquehanna Road and Route 152 (Limekiln
Pike);
• Tuesday, July 11, and Wednesday, July 12, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Camp
Hill
Road is scheduled to close between Route 73 (Bethlehem Pike) and Valley
Green
Road in Whitemarsh Township. During construction, Camp Hill Road motorists
will
be detoured over Route 73 (Church Road) and Valley Green Road;
• Wednesday, July 12, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Route 320 (Montgomery
Avenue/Gulph Road) is scheduled to close between Arden Road and Matsonford
Road
in Upper Merion Township. During construction, Route 320 (Montgomery
Avenue/Gulph Road) motorists will be detoured over Matsonford Road, Route

(Front Street) and Route 320 (Swedeland Road/Holstein Road/Gulph Road); and
• Wednesday, July 12, and Thursday, July 13, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM,
Flourtown
Road is scheduled to close between Butler Pike and Joshua Road in
Whitemarsh
Township. During construction, Flourtown Road motorists will be detoured
over
Butler Pike, Joshua Road and Germantown Pike.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zones. Motorists are

advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because
slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities are
weather
dependent.
