Daytime Lane Restrictions Scheduled Next Week on Kumry Road for Base Repair
Operations in Bucks County

Daytime lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Kumry Road between

Sleepy Hollow Road and Creamery Road in Milford Township and
Trumbauersville
Borough, Bucks County, on Monday, September 18, through Saturday, September
23,
from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for base repair operations, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this area.
The
work schedule is dependent on the weather.

This operation is being done in advance of the resurfacing of Kumry Road
between Sleepy Hollow Road and Creamery Road, which is scheduled to begin
in
October as part of a project to repair and resurface 15 miles of state
highway
in Bucks County.

State highways completed under this resurfacing project include:

• Route 563 (Ridge Road) between County Line Road and Park Avenue in West
Rockhill Township and Perkasie Borough; and
• Route 412 (Durham Road) between Route 611 (Easton Road) and Route 212 in
Nockamixon and Springfield townships.

Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc., of Hilltown Township, Bucks County, is the

general contractor on the $3,732,792 project, which is financed with 100
percent state funds from Act 89, Pennsylvania's Transportation Plan.
