Travel Restrictions Scheduled on Several State Highways for Tree Removal
Operations in the Philadelphia Region

Daytime travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state
highways
for tree removal operations in the Philadelphia region, the Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, September 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging are scheduled on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) between Beidler Road
and
Moore Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, September 25, and Tuesday, September 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM,
a
right lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between
Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) and Bryn Mawr Avenue in Philadelphia and

Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County;
• Monday, September 25, and Tuesday, September 26, lane restrictions with
flagging are scheduled on Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) at Aquetong Road in
Solebury Township, Bucks County;
• Monday, September 25, through Wednesday, September 27, from 9:00 AM to
3:00
PM, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 113 (Kimberton
Road/Pike Springs Road) between Pikeland Road and Hares Hill Road in West
Pikeland and East Pikeland townships, Chester County;
• Monday, September 25, through Thursday, September 28, from 9:00 AM to
3:00PM,
intermittent right lane closures are scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 between

Business U.S 30 and U.S. 322 in East Caln and Caln townships, Chester
County;
• Monday, September 25, through Friday, September 29, from 7:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on eastbound Glen Mills Road
between Cheyney Road and Springlawn Road in Thornbury Township, Delaware
County;
• Monday, September 25, through Friday, September 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Bristol Oxford Valley Road

between Cobalt Ridge Drive North and Cobalt Ridge Drive South in Middletown

Township, Bucks County;
• Wednesday, September 27, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging are scheduled on Upper Tinicum Church Road at Red Cliff Road in
Tinicum Township, Bucks County;
• Wednesday, September 27, and Thursday, September 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 23 (Conshohocken
State
Road) between Levering Mill Road and Overhill Road in Lower Merion
Township,
Montgomery County;
• Thursday, September 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging are scheduled on Sugartown Road between Goshen Road and Providence

Road in Willistown Township, Chester County;
• Thursday, September 28, and Friday, September 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 32 (River Road)
between
Lodi Hill Road and Berm Lane in Bridgeton Township, Bucks County; and
• Friday, September 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions with
flagging are scheduled on Warren Avenue between Shepherd Road and Andrews
Road
in Willistown Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas
because slowdowns will occur during construction. All scheduled activities
are
weather dependent.
